Experience & Production

The reward they cannot book themselves.

Reward programmes and leadership retreats built around a destination most delegates could not arrange on their own.

Why it matters

Cuba's advantage in incentive travel is scarcity value. The destination does most of the persuading before the programme begins, because the delegate knows this is not a trip they could have assembled themselves. The work is turning that into a programme with tiering, pacing, and a clear emotional arc.

An incentive programme is a message about what an organisation values, delivered over four or five days. That is why the design starts with the recognition rather than the map. Who is being rewarded, for what, and what should they feel able to tell colleagues about afterwards?

Cuba answers that unusually well, because almost nothing here reads as generic. The risk is the opposite one: filling every hour because the destination offers so much. The programmes that land hardest leave room to wander, and put their weight behind two or three moments nobody could have arranged alone.

What we manage

The work this covers.

Programme concept and reward tiering

Structure the experience so top performers receive a visibly different layer, not just a longer itinerary.

Arrival choreography

Design the first ninety minutes on the ground, where the programme sets its tone.

Signature evening and gala design

One anchor night the programme is remembered by, built around a venue and a performance that could not travel.

Free-time and optional experience menus

Curated choices for delegates who want to explore, with the logistics handled invisibly.

Host and escort team on the ground

Bilingual staff attached to the group for the full programme.

Post-programme recap assets

Photography, edit, and a summary the client can use internally afterwards.

How we approach it

The order the decisions get made in.

  1. Step 1

Start from the reward, not the itinerary

Understand what the programme is recognising before choosing where it goes.

  2. Step 2

Build the arc, then the days

Set the peak moments first and let pacing fall around them.

  3. Step 3

    Protect the free hours

Over-programming is the most common failure in incentive travel, so deliberate gaps are part of the design.

What this means in Cuba

The part a global agency cannot write for you.

  • A classic car convoy from the airport into the city sets the programme's tone in the first twenty minutes, and it costs less than most arrival gimmicks.
  • Vedado's 1950s hotels can be taken in blocks or, at the right size, entirely. That level of exclusivity is expensive elsewhere and routine here.
  • Breakfast on a tobacco farm in Vinales gives a reward programme a second landscape without a long transfer day.
  • The top tier can be genuinely different rather than merely upgraded, through a private concert, a chef's table, or a working artist's studio.

Scale

What size this works at

20 to 80 delegates is the natural range, and up to 150 in a single programme with staged arrivals.

Ideal for

  • Sales and channel reward programmes
  • Leadership and top-performer retreats
  • Milestone anniversary trips
